Todays is a new week and I started with a kickstart in the gym and now I am preparing myself for todays adventures . It's time to record the music video for my friend Debbie James . And directly after that I am heading to school for the first run through for the Global Motion show I am doing in may . Yes I am busy haha .
sorry guys for my poor updating here in. Last week was a lot going on and didnt have any time to sit in front of the computer . I had rehearsal with the Andre Tyson from alvin ailey and also photoshoot downtown. And when I didnt spend time on that I was with my X J and when we can met I only have my attention to him .

It's Friday, Friday Gotta get down on Friday Everybody's lookin' forward to the weekend, weekend Friday, Friday do you remember this song ? haha . I dont know why but every friday that song pop up in my head . Its like an alarm . An alarm that the weekend is here . After having the "friday song " playing in my head i took a run in the sunrise . I only took 3,4 miles this morning because my body is so sore after a whole week rehearsals with Andre W Tyson . And today is the last rehearsal with him . So wanted to save energy for it, Trust me , in this 8 minute long piece you need energy ! After rehearsing a couple of hours I finally got a few free days from school . But you all know me . I have a lot of other things planned in when I dont have school . I actually only have 1 photoshoot this weekend so I will have some time to spend with my X J. Btw . Yesterday my email inbox got bombed with exciting and good news . I will gladly share them when the right time come .
I got some great news yesterday .
Andre Tyson was having a masterclass for 4 hours at my college . And then he choose out what dancer he wanted to dance his piece that will be performing in late may . I got chosen ! For those who have no idea who Andre Tyson is ( I talked about him in the latest post ) He is a former Principal Dancer and Company Teacher with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Tyson has choreographed more than 50 works. Notably, he has created works for a broad range of companies such as Ailey III, Ailey II, Dance Compass, Brooklyn Dance Theater, Nanette Bearden Contemporary Dance Company, Premiere Dance Theatre, Milwaukee Dance Connection, City Ballet Theatre, Milwaukee Ballet II, Dance Wisconsin, Ballet Forder Zentrum /Nuremberg, Germany, Dance Point /Osaka, Japan and de Theaterschool Jazz Dance Company /Amsterdam, The Netherlands. To get this opportunity to dance his piece is indescribably . So after the 4 hours workshop with him we started to rehears right away. And It was not a rehearsal for 1-2 hours . It was a 4 hours rehearsal . So yesterday I danced for 8 hours without a break . and you can believe me when I say he was not giving us lazy time . It was a lot to take in and after My body and head was so tired that I don't even remember the bus drive home. But I love it! Today : woke up with a sore body . And I didnt think otherwise when I closed my eyes yesterday. I went to the gym for some cardio and yoga in the sauna. Yeah I am one of those weirdos who stands and stretch in the sauna. It's really make all the tension in your body go away . Hitting the sauna after a grueling workout relieves sore muscles. Saunas are also often used to alleviate arthritis, asthma, chronic fatigue, and for flushing toxins from your body. Now I am home going through some pictures from my photo shoot with @theeseanmartin ( instagram ) and then I am going to plan future photo shoots. Last week of March is here . Just as February I can barley remember what I did this month . I have done a lot when I look back on my instagram . A lot of different photoshoots but if I wouldn't had looked at my instagram I would have had no clue .That's how fast time run by in Los Angeles .
Today : My morning started at La Fitness . And I know that I said I wont be able to have a gym after my membership at 24h fitness . But I got an amazing offer from La Fitness. So the gym will continue to be a big part of my life . So this morning started with a leg workout with light weights . Start the week with a leg workout might sound a little bit hard to yourself and your body . But it was awesome ! Don't know if I will feel so amazing tomorrow when I have a 4 hours workshop with one of the members from Alvin Ailey dance company. Yes you read right ! one from Alvin Ailey is coming to teach a class for 4 hours tomorrow and also 4 h at Thursday and Friday . I am so happy because Alvin Ailey is one of my favorite company . So to experience this is a wonderful thing . After stretching in the sauna I headed home to give my body some nutrition . I ate a OASIS BOWL from @RushBowls =Coconut milk, mango, pineapple, peach juice. organic granola topping And a lot of water . Plans for the rest of the day : meeting for a fashion project and then rehearsal from 8-10 . Long day ! Will miss the gym so much when my membership ends March 19 . I know you dont need a gym to be active . But I just like seeing all the motivated people , fighting to get healthy , lose weight , get in shape etc. Its just the social life in the gym I will miss .
Another thing I miss a lot is taking class at edge every day . I have school almost every day and my wallet dont let me take so many classes outside my dance classes at school . But instead of focusing on what we missing we should think about the things we have and can do . So after this blogpost I will do some stretching and answering emails at the same time . I really need to go and get a planner . Start to write down all the things I need to do . Get more organized ! I also going to study some nutrition . She what is new in the health world and then choreograph. After that I did some ballet barre just to wake up my dance muscles . Because I will soon go back to the gym to do some strength and choreographing . I just need to make sure that the dance studio is free . After that I need to head to school . Have rehearsal there from 6 pm -10 pm . I love rehearsing ! It means that you soon will perform and that is what I want to do . I also need to do some emailing . So today is a busy day for me and I am so truly blessed for that . What can be more perfect than be here after a photoshoot . yes i did another photoshoot this morning with tiermm.com . I was shooting in a new part of los angeles that i never been to , culver city . this was a more high fashion shoot , i normally do more commercial stuff . so i was a little bit nervous .
